Today a friend of mine sent me one of the kindest emails I've received in a very long time. And it absolutely made my day.

More random facts:

12. Since I brought up the Olympics yesterday, I feel the need to admit something else: my favourite part of the Olympics, the part I won't miss, is the opening ceremonies. I just love the images of all of those young athletes, finally at the event they've been working toward all their lives, walking into the stadium with excitement .... waving at their families in the stands... handheld camcorders posed to capture the moment ...

... I'm starting to tear up just thinking about it.

11. My perfect moment in my current home: a cold, stormy day, with me under a blanket in our family room, drinking a warm beverage (it doesn't matter what, really), fire roaring in the fireplace, with either a good book or a great movie capturing my attention.

10. My perfect day in my future home: Marcus and I wake up and have breakfast and read together on the balcony overlooking the ocean. We then walk down the stairway cut into the cliff to the beach, BCD's, regulators, fins and masks in hand, and make our way to the the dive shop, just a short stroll away. We go out with the dive crew for a one tank dive, making it back home in time for lunch. After lunch, we hang out on our balcony/hammocks and read some more. At dinner time, we make our way back down the beach to the restaurant/beach bar, where we have a great seafood dinner, beverages with umbrellas in them, and dance the night away to the live steel pan playing in the sand.

As soon as I find this home, I'm buying it. I'm so not kidding. Even if it means selling a kidney to do it.

9. And speaking of dancing, I drop everything and do The Mojito in the middle of my family room every time this ad comes on.

Your turn! And have a great weekend, everyone. I'll be back on Monday (and Tuesday) with final random facts (and Wednesday, Marcus picks the recipient of the Chookooloonks print)!).
