I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. We certainly did -- we caught up with friends, ate at the best pizza place in the Houston area, and of course, made sure to catch the fireworks display. Exactly the way July 4th weekend should be spent.

And now:

27. I've pierced my ears three times, and all three times my ears immediately became infected and closed up. Couple this with the fact that I scar horribly, I have no piercings or tattoos anywhere on my body. Otherwise? I'd be all over it.

26. I really, really dislike peanut butter -- it is, as I've told some former coworkers, the devil's secretion. However, I love peanut sauce (like in Thai food), and I love peanuts. It must be a texture thing.

25. Thanks to parents with a terminal case of wanderlust, as well as business trips funded by my former employer, I've traveled to over 30 countries in my life. Still to visit: Australia, Japan and South Africa top the list. I'm not sure when any of them are going to happen, but they will happen.

24. When I was in my 20's, I had my 15 minutes of fame: I starred in a television commercial for a local radio station. The commercial played on just about every television station on air at the time, and was broadcast for about 8 weeks -- to the point where people would actually stop me in public and ask for my autograph (!). It was a very weird, very uncomfortable feeling, and an experience that I actually enjoyed far less than you might think.
