No matter how many days I spend in San Francisco, it's never long enough: this trip was no exception. I landed around midday on Tuesday, and happily found myself in the middle of this glorious city enjoying spectacular weather. I had the opportunity to reconnect with my friend Andrea, who remains as lovely and genuine as ever. Then that evening, my sister and I caught up at a great little restaurant -- it was the first time in ages that we had time together without husbands or children in tow.

The next day, after several hours of learning more about the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (which, actually, isn't nearly as boring as it sounds), I returned home. Great little trip.
