(This is a detail from one of my favourite pieces of art hanging in our home. We bought it in Jamaica, but are told it depicts a scene from rural Central America.)

Thanks so much for your enthusiastic response to Shutter Sisters! We're all very excited about it. Thanks also for your patience while we work the kinks out -- I'm told there are people far more technical than I diligently fixing the registration process, and the ease of subscribing via web feeds. I'll definitely let you know when it all seems to be working properly.

In the meantime, I'm off to the decidedly un-rural Mexico City for the next couple of days for a work conference. I, of course, am taking my camera, although I make no promises: it is very likely all I'll see of Mexico City is the inside of a hotel conference room. Still, I'm keeping hope alive, and hopefully when I get back, I'll have a shot or two of this amazingly vibrant city.
